Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how RxReflex ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the RxReflex: Top 200 Drugs mobile application (the "App") on iOS and Android.
At a glance
- RxReflex is designed to work primarily from data stored on your device.
- We do not require you to create an account to use the App.
- We do not sell your personal information and we do not use the App for third-party advertising.
- Premium purchase handling uses third-party services, and premium sync can use iCloud on iOS or Google Drive app data storage on Android.
1. Information the App Handles
Depending on how you use the App, the following categories of information may be stored or transmitted:
- Study progress stored on your device: favorites, XP, level, and card study statistics such as practice counts and mastery status. This information is primarily stored locally on your device to support the offline-first experience.
- Purchase and entitlement information: if you view pricing, purchase premium access, or restore a purchase, the App uses RevenueCat together with Apple or Google billing systems to determine available offerings and whether the
Premiumentitlement is active. We do not receive your full payment card information. - iOS premium sync data: for premium users on iOS, the App can sync favorites, XP, level, and drug statistics through Apple's iCloud services so the same data can be available on your other iOS devices signed into the same Apple account.
- Android premium sync data: for premium users on Android who connect Google Drive, the App can access your Google account email address for connection status and can store a progress snapshot file in your Google Drive
appDataFolder. That snapshot can include favorite IDs, XP, level, drug statistics, and anupdatedAttimestamp. - Support information you choose to submit: if you contact us through the support form linked from the website or App, you may provide contact details and any information you include in your message.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information above only to operate and support the App, including to:
- save your study progress on your device;
- unlock premium content after a valid purchase or restore;
- sync premium progress across your own devices on the same platform when the relevant cloud service is enabled;
- display the connected cloud sync account status on Android; and
- respond to support requests and troubleshoot issues you report to us.
3. What We Do Not Do
- We do not require a username or password account to use the core study features.
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not use your study progress for third-party advertising.
- We do not knowingly collect precise location, contacts, photos, or microphone data for the App's core functionality.
4. Third-Party Services and Sharing
We use a small number of third-party services to run the App. These services may process information as needed to provide their functionality:
- Apple App Store and Google Play: used to distribute the App and handle in-app purchase billing on their respective platforms.
- RevenueCat: used to retrieve product offerings, validate purchases, restore purchases, and determine whether premium access is active. RevenueCat may assign an anonymous app user identifier when no custom account identifier is provided.
- Apple iCloud: used for iOS premium sync if iCloud is available and enabled on the device.
- Google Sign-In and Google Drive: used for Android premium sync when you choose to connect your Google account and authorize Drive app-data access.
These providers operate under their own policies. Relevant privacy information is available here:
5. Data Retention and Deletion
Because RxReflex is primarily local-first, retention depends on where the data is stored:
- On-device data: local study data remains on your device until you delete the App, clear app storage, or overwrite the data through continued use.
- iCloud sync data: if iCloud sync is enabled for premium use on iOS, synced data may remain in your Apple-managed iCloud storage until it is replaced or removed through Apple's systems.
- Google Drive sync data: if you connect Google Drive on Android, the App stores a progress snapshot in your Drive
appDataFolderuntil it is replaced or removed. - Purchase records: Apple, Google, and RevenueCat may retain transaction and entitlement records under their own retention rules.
You can stop future cloud syncing by disconnecting Google Drive on Android or disabling iCloud for the App on iOS. If you want help with a privacy or deletion request related to the App, contact us using the support form listed below.
6. Data Security
We aim to keep data handling limited to what is reasonably necessary for the App's study, purchase, and sync features. No method of electronic storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children's Privacy
RxReflex is intended for exam preparation and study use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the App.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after an update means the updated policy will apply going forward.
