About RxReflex
RxReflex is a study app and free reference site for people sitting the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE) to become a CPhT. It drills the Top 200 drugs with fast brand↔generic flashcards, then covers the rest of the PTCB blueprint with pharmacy math, scenario questions, and single-page cheat sheets. It is built by an independent developer, not by a test-prep publisher and not by the PTCB.
Who writes this content?
Everything on this site is written and maintained by the RxReflex Content Team — the same small team that builds the app. We are not pharmacists, and we do not pretend to be. What we do instead is show our work: every exam claim on this site names the source it came from, and the site and the app are generated from one shared, versioned content set, so they cannot quietly disagree with each other.
Where a page teaches clinical detail, it carries a visible review date and a link to a primary label source. Where a page teaches exam strategy, it says plainly that it is exam strategy.

How is it reviewed?
The app's question bank went through a full accuracy audit against the 2026 blueprint and current US pharmacy law, in which eight independent reviewers checked every card; the corrections from that audit shipped in app version 2.5.0. Domain classification was re-checked separately and the independent reviewers agreed on 94.5% of cards on the first pass.
The pages on this site are generated from that same audited content, so a fix made once reaches both. Each page shows the date it was last reviewed. If you find something wrong, please tell us — corrections get made at the source and republished everywhere.
Is RxReflex affiliated with the PTCB?
No. RxReflex is an independent educational study app. It is not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board. PTCB, PTCE and CPhT are trademarks of the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board and are used here only to describe the exam this material prepares you for. Is it free?
The whole of this website is free and needs no account — all 200 drug pages, every PTCE study guide, and the PTCB Pass Code PDF. The app is free to download and you can start free in every section of it; a paid Premium subscription unlocks the complete banks, Smart Practice, and cross-device sync. The current price is shown in the app and by your app store before you buy, and varies by country.
